Bibliotheque Nationale de France is the largest library in the country. With three million books, the chances of finding a rare book are very high. In addition to books, the library also has newspapers, maps, manuscripts and cassettes. The library's old site is at 58 rue de Richelieu, Cedex 02. Currently, the old site holds several special collections including a museum of coins, metals and antiquities, as well as a collection from the performing arts. The Richelieu site is open from 1p-5p M-F.

The year 1906 saw the city of Paris swoon for a sensuous new style of dance. This yearly celebration of the tango revitalizes and re-imagines that famous introduction through a series of events dedicated to the past, present, and practice of the art. The festival comprises over 40 concerts and balls, tango courses, exhibitions, lectures, and dining experiences. All tango aficionados are welcome regardless of age and skill.
