The structure, which has been listed as a National Historic Landmark, was known earlier as the Historic Atlantic City Convention Hall. The 1998 renovation work it underwent, transformed the Boardwalk Hall into a state-of-the-art arena. The area, with its 13,500 seats, plays home to a variety of events including sports, concerts and so on. A huge dressing room, press room, whirlpool rooms, kitchen, meeting rooms and rest rooms, form part of the venue. The venue gets filled with an enthusiastic crowd, who can be found yelling at the top of their voices while cheering the favorite groups.
