Tournesol
Website Details  Map
5012 Vernon Boulevard, Suite B
Tournesol means sunflower in French and this petite bistro one stop into Long Island City shines bright. The food is great and the setting is intimate. The properly French servers are accommodating, but slow. They will move tables for so you can fit into the tightly placed tables. Be prepared to rub elbows with other patrons. Don't expect any sympathy from the servers, and whatever you do, don't yell, "garçon." It's derogatory, they hate it and you may find some extra greens in your salad. Tournesol has a great wine selection, and brunch, c'est magnifique! Bon Appetit!
