It carries just about everything one would expect to find in a New Age shop but with an emphasis on spirituality, metaphysics, mythology and world religions. Owner Frank Spellman has collected a goldmine of ancient manuscripts at Krown and Spellman that defies description. You have to see this collection of more than 3,000 rare books for yourself. There are many academic and scholarly titles from the 15th to the 17th centuries as well as a great selection of medieval and Renaissance titles. He has a special soft spot for the occult, so you can find all kinds of books in that genre. If you are looking to add some true classics to your library, this is the place to find those historical gems. The shop is open by appointment only or buy from the online store.

This store is the retail sales outlet for Hollywood's leading wardrobe provider for both film and television, and is more fun to explore than most museums. Much of the clothing here has seen its 15 minutes of fame one way or another, and is now being offered to the general public for sale or rent. Originally located in Hollywood proper, the store has been in operation in 1912, and then followed the studios out to the San Fernando Valley. The store also has a research library for students of film history. Patrons with disabilities can enter the store from the back.
