This is perhaps the coolest place to catch a live band on the West-side. The intimate club features artists of all degrees and styles. Local talent to mid-level headliners play nightly and always know to expect a supportive audience of around 100. The atmosphere is relaxed and is surprisingly conducive to conversation, despite the live tunes playing on stage. Plus, the back room has three pool tables in case the music isn't your thing.

This nightclub and billiard hall located on two floors has two bars and a very large dance floor. The music is eclectic and ranges from rock to disco to Latin to alternative rock to rhythm and blues. There are 31 pool tables, several pinball machines, an arcade and a patio. The clientèle consists mostly of young 20-somethings. On Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays the age limit is 18 and older. This is a great place to dance the night away, play some pool, or just hang out all night with old friends or make new ones.

The regulars here are true-blood punk fans with the colored Mohawks, tattooed arms and flashy clothing. It's California alright!

This has been the place for live jazz in the Valley for nearly 30 years. The cozy little haunt attracts major players and minor ones alike. The acoustics are great as long as the guy next to you doesn't bang his fork against his plate too often. It's hard to blame him, as the house specialty is huge potatoes baked with a variety of toppings. Potatoes and jazz? It's a great combo and you should try it to believe it.
