You won't find friendlier prices for Italian food in such a neighborhood in the entire city. Nothing is fancy here; the two rooms are barely decorated, the tables sport traditional red and white tablecloths and the menu sticks to spaghetti and meat balls, baked dishes and incredible chopped salads. The servers are fast and efficient, the bread's hot and the garlic and olive oil they place at your table is fantastic. Grab a mint as you leave, as the garlic is strong.

Step into this place and it's as if you have stepped into Italy. The cleverly done décor, cozy stone walls, wooden tables as well as the alfresco seating—all lend to its fabulously quaint look. Most of the cuisine served here hails from the regions of Venice, Florence, Rome and Tuscany. So dig into pizza, pasta, risotti and a host of antipasti as well as hearty soup like the Minestrone Alla Contadina. Try the Insalate with Radicchi Alla Cesare or the Calamari Affogati or any one of the delicious sandwiches such as the Focaccina Con Salmone Grigliato. The obvious drink with Italian food is wine and here bottles come at quite reasonable rates.

This restaurant is considered by many to be one of the best Italian places in the Long Beach/Cerritos area. The dishes are flavorful and mouthwatering. Try the special ravioli (meat, cheese, or spinach), homemade lasagna, manicotti, mostaccioli and eggplant parmesan. The menu features a child's plate of spaghetti and a 1/2 gallon of spaghetti for big children. The garlic bread is delicious and comes with several of the entrees.

This is one of the best and most beloved Italian restaurants in Long Beach. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxed and the service is first rate, but the food is definitely the best thing about this restaurant. Try the thick-crust pizza or any of the pasta dishes—the manicotti, cannelloni, baked mostaccioli, eggplant parmigiana, tortellini and ravioli are all delicious. The seafood and meat dishes are also well-loved, from the Scampi Italiana to the Chicken Cacciatore.

This pizzeria lives up to its name, serving pizza as delicious as you can get outside of Italy. With a wide range of the traditional and special toppings and a crust that is golden and mouthwatering, you can't miss this place. Or try the Buona Lisa, covered in provolone and mozzarella cheese, basil, pine nuts, goat cheese, red and yellow peppers and pan roasted garlic. It's a "sauceless" pizza and very tasty.
