Its stately and old world charm was retained despite recent renovations, which brought the theatre back to its former glory. The design includes inspiration from European villas, Chinese dragons and a beautiful faux star-studded sky. Bob Dylan, the Marx Brothers, Frank Sinatra, and George Gershwin are known to have performed here. Elco Theatre

This theatre, located in downtown Elkhart, first opened its doors to the public back in 1924 as 'The Lerner Theatre'. After that it went on to be known as 'The Warner' when the Warner family purchased it. Finally in 1934, it was renamed as Elco. Over the years various screenings, theatrical performances and concerts have taken place at this venue. Even today, it is a popular venue for events like live music performances, magic shows, operas and more.

 
Genesee Theatre

The Genesee Theatre is located in the heart of downtown Waukegan. Designed by the famous architect Edward P. Steinberg, the building originally housed this theater, 11 retail spaces and 44 apartments. 'Man About Town' debuted here on June 25, 1939. Jack Benny, a native of Waukegan and Dorothy Lamour starred in this play. Restoration work on this vaudeville theater began in 2001 and it was reopened to the public on 3rd December, 2004 with a much-applauded curtain raiser by Bill Cosby. Performances by Ringo Starr, Jewel, Led Zeppelin etc are slated for this years calendar.

Founded in 1957, Knights of Columbus is located close to the recreational park in Arlington Heights. The venue is used for both business as well as social meetings. Olympic Theatre

After a series of ups and downs, the Olympic Theater finally opened doors in the year 2008. The new owners (sons of the former owner) have refurbished the theater in the 72-year old building. With a brand new appearance, the theater promises exciting entertainment. Those who have witnessed the grandeur of the old theater are much satisfied with the restoration of the French renaissance architecture. The prime focus is on music concerts and theatrical performances.
