This spacious restaurant on the Saxenburg Wine Farm is set in lovely gardens and has fabulous views of the distant False Bay. This is a wonderful place to enjoy an informal evening out and enjoy the best in Continental fare. It is a long, expansive room, but the yellow walls, striking brass chandeliers, solid, comfortable chairs and huge fireplace, make for a very warm and cosy environment in which to sit back and relax. Enjoy its tasty continental fare, attractively presented for a leisurely lunch, during a winelands tour. There are good meat and poultry options, but it's always suggested that you make sure you are there when the fireplace is used for a 'spit-braai'. There's an intriguing selection of wines exclusively from Saxenburg, which has some of this region's most sought after whites.
